Becoming an AUNT, getting her ears pierced, playing soccer for the first time, taking sewing and art classes, beginning her first year as a summer missionary with CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship), and growing up way too fast! It's been a full year for my sister!
For the past few years, Jon and I have been taking birthday photos for my two youngest sisters! It's such a special time together, and we always end the shoot with food! The goal this year: to take photos and blog them before our baby girl arrives! One down, one more to go!
Melissa, or more fondly called Missy, is my youngest sister. I was 15 and a half years old when she was born on Memorial Day, 2006. I have absolutely loved being a part of her life and watching her grow up!
Missy has a dynamic personality and she is passionate about many things: Music, sports, sewing, baking, art, fashion, ministry, teaching, performing.
Being a big sister to her (and Marianna) have tremendously prepared me for motherhood! Missy has jumped head first into her newest role of AUNT this past year to our adorable niece, Athena. Missy loves babies and even volunteers to change diapers! I'm so excited to see her interact with our baby (due in just a few days!).
Just for fun, I thought it'd be neat to add the birthday photos we've done for her the past two years so you can see the comparison and how much she's grown up! They will open up in new tabs so you won't even have to leave this page.
Missy was stuck in the field, and there were ants everywhere! Jon to the rescue! And then, of course, her fun personality showing through some photos. :) Ending with iPhone photos of our date afterwards! We had such a fun evening together!
