Pumpkin pie, sweet potato casserole, green been casserole, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, hot rolls, apple pie, chocolate pecan pie, ice-cream, oh, I almost forgot, Turkey and Ham! Thursday was a GOOD DAY!
In all seriousness, Thanksgiving has us very grateful this year as this is our first as a married couple. Time has gone by fast, but God has been incredibly busy in our lives. Before we share our wedding video (YAY!), we wanted to take a moment to list what we are most grateful for this year:
You guys. Getting married and having your own home from the get-go is an incredible blessing. EVERY DAY. We are grateful. We love our home and the life we have here.
Mainly mine, since we got it this year. :) I had been praying for a car for a year but never had peace about the ones I was looking for. I first thought I was too picky, but now I know that God was holding us out for His best. I now have a Rav-4 that's peppy, safe, roomy, professional, and perfect for everything.
We love what God created, and that He put us together.
We realize how food influences our mood...but to be serious, we love how food brings people together.
God has provided every step of the way. This month also marks a year that Jon hasn't had a full-time job. God showed us that even though He may not provide the job we were hoping for, He will provide work to the faithful and obedient.
We are grateful for their presence, support, and influence in our lives as newlyweds. We're also grateful for WhatsApp and how we can connect on a daily basis! If you don't have the app, you'll want it. It's an international texting app that allows you to form groups to easily send texts, photos, videos, and audio.
For our businesses, our lives, our ministries. Thank you, Jesus.
A big THANK YOU to my childhood friend, John Martin (and Sam for assisting!), for our wedding video! We love looking back and remembering the first few moments, minutes, and hours of marriage.
